FANTASTIC CONDITION MARBLE'S GAME GETTER MODEL 1908A (NFA CLASSIFICATION - ANY OTHER WEAPON).MARBLEGAME GETTER9056.22 LR/.44 SHOTMODERN; NFA; C&RCal. 22 LR/44 Shot. 15" bbl. Superb specimen of the highly desirable model of the Game Getter manufactured by "The Marble Safety Axe Co." and is so marked on left side. Gun retains it's orig Gutta-percha grips and orig flip-up rear sight and flexible tang sight. Tip open action and swing-out stock loop function properly. Includes rare orig holster. Firer can select which bbl to fire by manually actuating the selector on the hammer. This weapon appears functional. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4 as Curio & Relic eligible under the classification Any Other Weapon (AOW). CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is outstanding with over 96% orig blue finish remaining with slight blemishes at high edges at muzzle and one barely noticeable blemish 5-1/2" from muzzle. 1/18" scrape mark through logo on right side. Vibrant case color on hammer, with somewhat less on trigger and less still at stock latch. Grips are extremely fine with sharp and crisp diamonds and lustrous orig blue remaining on the screws, there are some slight handling marks & blemishes at the bottom of the grips with a tiny chip at the outer edge of the bottom right. Stock loop has some pinprick oxidation on the nickel plating. Bores are near excellent, shiny and bright. Holster is in fine orig condition, soft, supple and serviceable. It is difficult to imagine that it would be possible to upgrade this specimen. The fact that this includes its orig holster only enhances it's attractiveness. 50285-1 JWK56 (1,500-2,500)
