SPRINGFIELD ARMORY SAR-48 MACHINE GUN (FULLY TRANSFERABLE). SPRINGFILED ARM SAR-48 SA-1591 308 MODERN; NFA Cal. 7.62 X 51MM. 22-1/2" bbl w/flash hider. Extremely high quality and effective machine gun made right here in America. Marked on right side of receiver "1005-SA-48-MATCH" together with Springfield Armory (GENESEO, IL.) logo. This rifle includes one 20 & one 30 rnd magazine and also a gunner's tool kit with screwdriver, adjustment wrenches, brushes, oiler and pull through cleaning line, all in a nice hinged tin. This American version of the FN-FAL also includes a black web sling and features a fold down bi-pod, and carrying handle. Marked on bottom of receiver, forward of magazine well "IMBEL, ITAJUBA / BRAZIL". Mechanism operates smoothly by hand under proper spring tension. This weapon appears fully functional. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This item is fully transferable on an ATF Form 3 or Form 4. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish are extremely fine. Dark black enamel finish and blue on all metal parts. 30 rnd magazine has a parkerized finish. Composite, handguard & buttstock show some light handling marks. This is a very attractive and fine condition specimen. Bore is excellent, shiny & bright.
