BEAUTIFUL HIGH CONDITION HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON RISING MODEL 50 MACHINE GUN (CURIO & RELIC).HARRINGTON & RICHARDSMODEL 506910.45 ACPMODERN; NFA; C&RCal. 45 ACP. 13-3/4" bbl with compensator. This is a beautiful, probably police issue Reising select fire machine gun includes four 20 round mags and a spare bolt as well as a "Wolfe Springs & Co" spring kit. These guns were used by the Marine Corps in the Pacific during WWII as an alternative when there were insufficient Thompson's available. These were also used by police as well as security personnel. The Reisings had an accuracy advantage over the Thompson's in that they fire from a closed bolt. Firing mechanism moves smoothly when operated by hand, this weapon appears fully functional. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4 as Curio & Relic eligible. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is excellent, deep lustrous orig blue finish. Mags also near excellent as is spare bolt, some slight thinning and blemishing to the finish just forward of rear sight. Stock has some dings, handling marks, with a small knot plug mid-way between buttplate and pistol grip on lower right side, but very attractive overall. Bore is shiny and bright. These Reisings have enjoyed an increase in popularity in recent years, and they are very comfortable to shoot. 50273-4 JWK42 (4,000-6,000)
