FANTASTIC, COLT 1921 AC THOMPSON MACHINE GUN, FORMERLY FROM OKLAHOMA POLICE DEPT. (CURIO & RELIC). COLT 1921 THOMPSON 7519 45 ACP MODERN; NFA; C&R Cal. .45. 12 1/2" bbl. Simply an utterly fantastic condition Colt 1921 AC Thompson machine gun w/ matching upper and lower assemblies, anchor proof mark, stock and includes 1 orig type "L" New York, N.Y. U.S.A. 1920 patent dates drum. Drum rotor a blued steel replacement. 1921 internal parts with receivber. Cutts compensator unmarked. Lyman adjustable rear sight w/ Thompson bullet logo forward of rear sight base. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4 as Curio & Relic eligible. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish extremely fine orig deep lustrous blue finish w/ only some slight high edge thinning of finish at rear of receiver, with the metal to the rear of the handgrip just starting to show a brown patina, and a latch scratch across the lower assemblies SN. Butt plate exhibits high edge wear to a gray patina. Wood is exceedingly attractive with slight handling marks. Drum is very fine, lustrous blue re-finish w/ some scattered raised pin prick corrosion at front w/ somewhat more noticeable pitting on back side. Mechanics are crisp, bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright, compensator clean, bolt face just fantastic.
