MINT NEW CONDITION U.S. PROPERTY MARKED HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON M16A1 MACHINE GUN (FULLY TRANSFERABLE). HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON M16 A1 XXX 5.56 MM MODERN; NFA Cal. .5.56 MM. Bbl 21". Utterly new Harrington & Richardson M16A1 w/ H&R Lion logo and "PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT). Markings on left side magazine well w/typical Harrington & Richardson address. Gun was apparently never numbered at the factory and is registered w/ three "x"s being hand inscribed below the cal. markings on the left side of the magazine well. This is the only SN marking on this weapon. This is the M16A1 in its classic military configuration with triangular handguards, forward assist and bird cage flash hider. Orig moisture absorbent straw still present in bore. Consignor states this gun came from the Harrington & Richardson Museum. Includes 1 20-rd and 2 30-rd magazines. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4. CONDITION: Overall finish and appearance is new unfired. However, there is some barely perceptible loss of finish visible where charging handle has rubbed top of receiver. Mechanics are crisp, bore is extremely fine, appears to be unfired. Early rounded type butt pristine. 20 rd magazine is gray with high edge wear. 30-rd magazines very fine to extremely fine. 53170-4 JWK (22,000-32,000) W/BOX
