Prussian Model 1895 enlisted Pickelhaube in very good condition. Unit markings and date of "I.R. 159.", "1907", and "II.B." are painted on the inside front. Second Battalion of the 159th Infantry Regiment. Both Prussian and Imperial German cockades are present in their original finish. Leather surface is crazed, and liner, while intact, is dry. Prussian emblem retains 45-50% of it original gold gilt finish, and all brass fitting are in a nice even patina. Original chinstrap is present, and is still soft and pliable. A near mint cover is included, and is marked "D.R.P." in black ink, on the inside rim. Cover has some very light age soiling, and a couple of minor snags in the fabric.
