Lot contains: (A) Imperial German World War I M17 camouflage helmet. Subtle camouflage rates 85-90% and is in the colors of dark brown, medium brown and green with black painted borders and a series of vertical black dots on each of the six camouflage panels. Metal helmet interior is covered in a nice patina and freckling. Metal liner band is intact, as well as the three leather and cloth pads. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Bavarian Model 1890 Reserve officer pickelhaube. Helmet leather is moderately crazed with some heat damage, and fittings have a greenish patina. One of the spike's mounting arms is missing its fastener. Leather neck piece is loose and scaled chinstrap is intact. Bavarian cockade is present, but the Imperial German cockade is missing. High quality officer's liner is present in excellent condition. Helmet is sized 55 and has a paper tag on the inside rear. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (C) Bavarian NCO pickelhaube. Metal Model 1914 "Ersatz" helmet retains 80-90% of its black lacquered finish with a number of moderate dings present. Brass helmet fittings have a nice old patina present and the scaled chinstrap is present. Liner is in very good condition and is still supple. Inner metal shell is marked "55" and has a "Gebr. Bing AG" in "Nurnberg" in red ink. CONDITION: Very good to excellent.
