Lot contains: (A) US M17A1 Helmet, (B) US Army WWII Army Visor, (C) Imperial German M17 Helmet, and (D) East German Helmet. (A) U.S. World War I M17A1 helmet in overall excellent condition. Helmet retains more than 85% of its original olive drab paint, with a lot number of "20202" stamped inside the rear rim. Original leather liner is intact and is named, and with the number "8194". (B) U.S. Army olive drab wool visor cap in overall excellent condition with two minor moth holes on the top, and one on the front. Retains it correct chinstrap and neckstrap, as well as both gold gilt buttons and U.S. Army emblem. (C) Imperial German M17 helmet in overall excellent condition. Helmets retains more than 85% of its finish, and it is possible this was a post-World War I 1920's reissue helmet. Paint was brush applied, and a number "66" is painted in black with a stencil inside. Original chinstrap is present. Three filled leather pads are present and the drawstring has ripped through on three of the six tongues. (D) East German helmet with net in unissued complete condition.
