The Philipps factory in Bockenheim, Germany was making these gorgeous machines around the turn of the century and developed a partnership with Wurlitzer to distribute machines in America. This rare and beautiful model is the Style PC 19 with piano, mandolin, and xylophone. The xylophone is lighted when playing and rests above the piano, under curved glass. The case has ornate details throughout. The keyboard is flanked by high columns and electric beaded sconces. It plays well and a box of Philipps PM rolls is included.
