The classic helmet, worn by both Cromwell's and Charles I's troops during the English civil war. This pot helm is an excellent example of the type. The blacken iron skull is formed with one piece and six ridges. Helmet retains both of its original ear flaps, where most do not. Neck defense of four articulated lames. Rim with rolled edge. CONDITION: Screw for nasal is present but nasal is missing. A very fine condition helmet, retains much of the original leather inside. One of the best of these that has been offered in years.
