Simply magnificent original specimen from the Police Ordnance Co. Model 6 machine gun complete with two original cleaning rods, two magazines, and the original instruction manual in its original trunk case. In many ways, reminiscent of the Thompson Machine gun, the Police Ordnance Model 6 was less costly to manufacture. It incorporates a "KING" rear sight, reminiscent of those seen on Winchester rifles. Threaded receiver cap for retaining the mainspring and bolt and three position selector on right side of receiver. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. Overall appearance and original finish is extremely fine to near mint. A couple of small dings to the right side of the stock and a very slight blemish to the finish at the top of the receiver near the manufacturer's address. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is fine, shiny and bright. Case is extremely fine with wear to the contact points of the blocking. These Police Ordnance guns are well made and although simplified, shoot quite well. This is a top condition specimen for the investor/shooter. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE.
