Exceedingly fine specimen of a World War II issue Reising M50 machine gun complete with one magazine and one original vintage Lift-the-Dot web sling. The Reising machine guns, such as this one, were issued to US Marine Corp troops during World War II when insufficient quantities of Thompsons were available. This one is marked on the left side of the receiver "USMC" and exhibits a dull grey parkerized finish. Typical Harrington & Richardson address on top of receiver with three position selector. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent. Arsenal refinish on metal parts with some light handling marks to the wooden stock. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is very fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face also very fine. A fine and classic World War II collectible. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE.
