Lot consists of: (A) A German Luftschutz Helmet in excellent condition. The helmet is made of two pieces which are crimped together in the center, forming a bead that runs the perimeter of the helmet. The blue exterior paint is in excellent codntion with scattered marks throughout as well as signs of light wear. The front decal on the helmet is in excellent condition which has some light marks as well as aging. The interior of the helmet is in excellent condition. The leather is intact, with the exception of the drawstring, and is still supple. The rear skirt of the helmet has the makers name and helmet size stenciled. (B) The White US Civil Defense Helmet is overall in very good condition. The exterior white enamel paint is in excellent condition with a few scattered marks throughout. The front decal is 95% intact and has only a few small chips to it. The interior liner is in very good condition, but has become separated from a few of its attachment points. The webbed chinstrap is intact and in excellent condition. There is a "Victory Helmet" label in the inner dome, as well as "L A County" penciled under it. (C) The World War One US Helmet is overall in excellent condition. The outer green paint has a few scattered light marks throughout. There is a painted Belgian Flag on the helmets left side which is almost fully intact. The inner liner is in excellent condition, but the center pad has become detached from the system. The webbed chinstrap is present and in excellent condition as well. (D) The West German Light Testing Kit is in near mint condition. It appears to have all of its parts present, as well as extra bulbs.
