Marked “P.L.F. ST. L. MO.”, with serial number on bottom of receiver with partially obscured manufacturers logo and “Made in USA” markings and “Model MK-99” with “7.62 “ markings on left side of receiver. Original gun serial number “BR 42254” on left side of receiver with sticker-tape also on left side of receiver with previous owners identification number and caliber. This rifle incorporates a large flash hider, and has hard composite furnishings, including side-folding stock, web sling, and compact canvas cleaning kit. The gun is fitted with a Belarus manufactured scope mount with a battery operated “aim point” scope. Rotating the knob on the right side of the scope would normally turn on and then brighten a red aiming dot within the scope. The lot includes an exceptionally long U.S. manufactured steel magazine with yellow sticker “RPK”, and also a black plastic 40 round magazine. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is exceptionally fine matte black hard coat finish with blued action cover and near excellent bore and bolt face. Optics are clear however this cataloger found the scope’s aiming dot to be in the “on” position when cataloging this gun, and the battery is apparently expended. An exceptionally fine, high condition short barreled rifle in a desirable caliber. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A SHORT BARRELED RIFLE. JWK 18-122
