The Madsen M50 was an inexpensive to produce, yet effective machine gun utilized by police in many countries. It incorporates an interesting grip safety to the rear of the magazine well, which much be depressed in order for the bolt to release forward. Includes one original web pouch and three original magazines, two of which is still new in the wrapper. This is one of two consecutively numbered specimens offered in this same sale. A very handy and compact package with its side folding shoulder loop with leather covering. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent. Original black enamel finish with some slight loss of finish to the barrel forward of the barrel retention nut and some light handling marks to other components. Bore is fine with some darkness in the grooves towards the muzzle. Bolt face is also fine. Mechanics are crisp. An effective and handy machine gun always popular at the range.
