Marked “Bern” with swiss cross, and dated 1941, this Anti-tank gun includes in addition to its original wheeled tripod and shoulder rest bar, an original transit chest, 4 original web and leather magazine carrying satchels and 13 original magazines, as well as original muzzle cover are included with this lot. Sheet metal toggle action cover not present, but this does no affect functionality. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original smooth dull blue finish with black enamel paint, and otherwise black anodized parts. Charging handle has loss some of its anodization revealing aluminum colored alloy underneath. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt is in the white also near excellent condition. Cart/Tripod and wheels, as well as tires are extremely fine and serviceable. A superior condition specimen of a very well made and WW2 desirable anti-tank gun. A knowledgeable collector has related there are not more than 6 specimens of this kind registered for private ownership in the United States.
