Pressed fur felt helmet featuring a large gilded USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor insignia affixed by screw post. No other holes are present on the front of the body. Helmet displays Marine Corps side buttons, correct cruciform spike base and chainlink chin strap which has a worn leather backing. Interior leather sweatband does not display a contract stamp. CONDITION: Excellent. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
