From the estate collection of an extremely discerning and selective World War I era machine gun collector comes this wonderful grouping on Maxim machine gun accessories. Includes a highly desirable German MG3 Anti-Aircraft tripod with a high quality steel adapter to attach the German Maxim 08/15 machine gun, as well as an original German World War I belt loader (Gurtfuller 16) in original box and manufactured by Furstlich Lippische. Also included are three 250 round Turkish aluminum belts, one 250 round Turkish steel belt (all four with leather lead tabs), one unmarked except for Arabic numbers 250 round brass tabbed clot belt, one 250 round DWM marked brass tabbed cloth belt, one 250 round steel tabbed cloth belt, two combination spanner/hammer tools, one Reichswehr reissue wooden ammo box, one double-wide steel ammo box with two unmarked 250 round brass tabbed cloth belts with Isreali ammunition loaded into them, one long neck Maxim oiling can, one brass finish oil can, one "boiling out" funnel, one reproduction steam condensing hose, one reproduction leather sling, two late style water cans, one "SA" marked ammo can, one wooden Maxim ammo box with parted canvas handle, two MG-08 booster soaking cans with Nazi era blank firing boosters, one empty MG-08 booster soaking can (all unmarked), an original brass with steel handle Maxim cleaning rod, a Maxim broken case extractor, and an original "Handbook for Machinegun.Leader" published in German in 1918 which was purchased from Dolf Goldsmith at Knob Creek in April 2002. CONDITION: All appear to be in serviceable condition despite their age. Canvas handle on wooden box has parted but is present. It is not often that this level of quality Maxim accessories comes to be available. A great opportunity for the advanced Maxim machine gun collector or recreational Maxim shooting enthusiast!
