M1917 steel "doughboy" helmet with painted 2nd Division Indian head motif on a blue-green square that represents the 3d Bn, 5th Marines. Helmet retains original oilcloth liner, and a period correct bronze enlisted P1914 EGA device affixed in a punched hole. Very old rusty nut holds EGA in place. CONDITION: Very good, missing chinstrap.
