United States Navy World War II Mark V brass and copper dive helmet. Oval plaque to front reads "US Navy Diving Helmet Mark V, Diving Equipment and Salvage Corp. Milwaukee, Wis/ No 481 Mod 1,/ Date 7-6-43". Approximately 19-1/2" high, 13" wide and 16-1/2" deep (at deepest point). Copper body with tinned finish, "US" and anchor mark at the front. CONDITION: Helmet is in very good condition showing moderate service wear but no damage. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
