The "Handy Gun" was always very popular, and was truly quite handy. This gun is marked "28 ga" on top. Case hardened top lever hammer action is marked "H & R Handy - Gun" on left side. Right side is marked with H&R name and address. Serial number is on action top spur. Comfortable one piece walnut grip is nicely checkered. Small forend screws to barrel. Includes original amnesty registration paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent, as partially refinished. Barrel retains over 90% re-blue over some light pitting. Action retains over 90% case hardening color with scattered cleaned freckling. Stocks are very fine, original. Bore is excellent, Mechanically fine. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE "ANY OTHER WEAPON".
