Lot consists of: 18 NEW HAMPSHIRE early issue plates, ranging from the first issue (1905-1911) through the last porcelain (1918). All are porcelain except for the 1912 issue, which is thin embossed steel. The 1905-1911 was issued right at the end of the series in late 1911 and is in exceptional condition. All are singles aside from a 1917 pair. One 1916 is a three-digit, all are private auto plates aside from one 1916 and one 1918, which are "non-resident" plates. Originally issued only in the summer time to vehicles visiting the state, these last two are odd shaped, made so the home state could be seen behind the New Hampshire plates.
