Lot consists of: Four small plates from various places and serving various purposes. The first, 200, is a very rare motorcycle plate used by the U.S. Forces in ETHIOPIA at Kagnew Air Base, used from 1967-1975, in fair to good condition. The second, 8990 EE, is from ITALY and a temporary issue used in the 1950's, condition is fair. The third plate, 66, is from the "DISTRICT OF HAPPY VALLEY", a remote area of NEWFOUNDLAND in CANADA that had no roads until the 1950's. The revenue raised from the cost of these plates was used to build and improve local roads, this series was issued from 1955-1960 and is very hard to find, condition is excellent. The last plate, 22237, is from SWITZERLAND and is a front plate in their military series, used in the 1950's onward, condition is excellent.
