Lot consists of: Two plates from GUANTANAMO BAY, CUBA, which is a base used by U.S. Forces since the beginning of the last century. The letters stand for United States Naval Operating Base, and since that was officially changed in 1952, the No. 39 plate pre-dates 1952, and likely a later 1940's issue. The low number also suggests an early issue. The 905 is a motorcycle plate, and though it carries the same designation, a good guess would say it was issued later than 1952. The 39 is excellent, and the 905 is mint.
