Manufactured at Springfield Armory in 1943. This outstanding example checks out as being all correct with a superb McFarlane cartouche. CONDITION: TE reading: 1.5. ME reading: 1.5. Walnut stocks are exceptional with several very minor bruises and scratches. Most all of the parkerized finish remains and the rifle shows little to no actual use. Probably one of the finest World War II issue M1 Garands around. The rifle comes with a bill of sale from the Division of Civilian Marksmanship from 1991.
