Manufactured 1954 for the Korean War. Barrel dated 10-54 with proper Springfield Armory markings. All internal components are "SA" marked or unmarked. Stock has the Korean War period Ordnance eagle with three stars inspection. CONDITION: TE reading: less than 1. ME reading: less than 1. Parkerized finish is near new with over 95% still present with losses at high points. Stocks are slightly bruised and stained from Arsenal storage but are very good. Rifle comes with CMP certificate of sale dated January 2004 as an M1 Garand Collector Grade rifle.
