Manufactured 1953. Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand rifle are considered by many to some of the finest M1 rifles ever produced as they had one of the lowest USGI rejection rates. Barrel is "HRA 10-53" dated. HRA manufactured and marked parts observed are bolt, operating rod, barrel, trigger assembly, hammer, and safety. No other manufacturer was found. Walnut stocks have the Korean War period small Ordnance inspection cartouche on left side and circle "P" inspection at pistol grip. CONDITION: Very good overall with bright shiny bore and sharp lands and grooves. Action operates properly. Parkerized finish is very good with most remaining and only slight losses at high points and muzzle. Stocks are slightly weathered with numerous bruises and light scratches, as is to be expected. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 1+. Accompanied by a CMP certificate dated February 2005, indicating sale of M1 barrel led receiver.
