Manufactured 1954. Korean War period manufacture with Springfield 3-54 dated barrel; most all other parts are manufactured and marked IHC including operating rod, trigger, bolt, hammer, trigger assembly, and safety. The walnut stocks have the appropriate DOD eagle with three stars cartouche and the circle "P" inspection at pistol grip. CONDITION: Very good with most of the deft light grey parkerized finish remaining with thinning and losses at muzzle and high points. Bore is very fine. TE reading: 2. ME reading: 1+. Bore is bright and shiny. Action operates properly. Stocks are good with numerous very light storage dings and bruises, but are fully intact with no material loss. Comes with certificate of authenticity from CMP dated September 2002.
