Manufactured 1955. Considered by many to the finest quality M1 Garand rifles the HRA produced rifles had one of the lowest rejection rates by the United States Government inspectors. This rifle has the proper and correct HRA marked bolt, hammer, trigger assembly, and safety, as well as the operating rod and 9-54 HRA marked barrel. Wood stocks have the appropriate small Ordnance cartouche on the left side as well as the circle "P" inspection on pistol grip. This rifle is accompanied by a CMP certificate as having been sold in June of 2004 and was listed as a M1 Garand Greek issue rifle. CONDITION: Good overall with most all arsenal applied finish remaining with losses at high points. Action operates properly. Wood stocks are good as used, with oil staining and bruises consistent with being a used military rifle. Bore is very fine, being bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. TE reading: -1. ME reading: 1+.
