Fully restored Springfield M1 Garand rifle. Receiver was manufactured in 1943. The internal parts are all USGI with the exception of the stocks and barrel. CONDITION: The rifle has been completely restored with a commercial Criterion (CBI) barrel, Boyd's walnut M1 Garand stock set; refinished to appear new. The bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. TE reading: -1. ME reading: 1+. The buttstock has a CMP cartouche at the left side and is as new without any indication of use. The rifle is accompanied by a certificate from the CMP as having been sold as a receiver only in November of 2005. Also accompanying this rifle is a reproduction leather cheekpiece and sealed M65 carrying case. This rifle appears new.
