Lot consists of: A phenomenal 40-plate run from the first-issue 1904 Register all the way up to 1966, all with the same low number of 394. The years of 1918 and 1946 are missing, but other years are in matching pairs. The Register porcelain is very rare, in good to very good all-original condition with four extra holes, issued on May 28, 1904 to Charles F. Albrecht of Providence for an Oldsmobile runabout. The 1908 series was only issued to new registrations, so it isn't missing. The gorgeous 1912 porcelain is also good to very good, and the rest of the run averages the same, with a couple plates needing restoration. There are no repaints, touchups or repairs of any kind. The run includes six large sepia photograph prints of the No. 394 plates in use on the original cars in 1913, 1917, 1940, 1948, 1950 and 1957. Also includes a historical abstract with data about the owner, address and vehicle makes from 1904 to 1925. This is a museum-quality unique collection ready to display!

Condition: (Excellent).

Item Dimensions: Largest: 12 - 1/4" x 6".
