The frame on this rifle dates it to October of 1944 - November of 1945. The barrel is dated 1952. The cartouche on left side of stock is SA NFR for General Ramsey (10-44/11-45) and rear sight is the later model. This is a Korea or post Korea rebuild that features the M1-C type scope mount and proper M82 scope with flash suppressor. CONDITION: The metal has been refinished in black parkerized manner. The metal retains the majority of this rebuild finish. The stock has usual handling marks with minor bruises. The chamber has a tight TE reading of 2. DB
