The frame on this rifle dates it to December of 1944 - March of 1945. The barrel is dated 1952. The cartouche on left side of stock is the 1/2" DOD and rear sight is later model. This is a Korea or post Korea rebuild that features the M1-D type scope mount and proper M84 scope with flash suppressor and 1952 dated leather cheek pad. CONDITION: The metal has been refinished in black parkerized manner. The metal retains the majority of this rebuild finish. The stock has usual handling marks with minor bruises. The chamber has a tight TE reading of 2. Rifle comes with original scope box. DB
