No. 4 weight full octagon barrel is fitted with windage adjustable globe front sight and scope blocks, holding Lyman 438 Field scope. A rear sight dovetail has filler block 6" from breech end. Winchester markings are on top flat. Case hardened high wall action has no proofs or factory markings on top tang. "4" is on bottom. Action is fitted with double set triggers, flat spring hammer, and brass three finger lever grafted onto the Winchester original lever. Lightly crotch figured American walnut buttstock with Winchester Schuetzen Helm style buttplate. Winchester palm rest with replaced knob. Winchester marked grip cap and point pattern checkering. Matching forend with inset ebony tip. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains approximately 90% original blue. Action with 80-90% original color, faded around top and around high points, strong on sides. Stock retains over 90% original finish with a number of light marks. Forearm has a small chip in the wood next to palm rest base. Scope retains nearly all of what appears to be a reblue. Bore is excellent, bright, sharp and shiny throughout. Action is smooth.
