Consignors notes indicate that this action and rifle were made by L. Harriman of Bowling Green, Ohio, following original Borchardt design. This action, serial number 1, has bent steel operating lever on Borchardt type sliding safety. It is fitted with tapered round barrel which mounts a 14X Unertl target scope in micrometer rings. Schuetzen buttstock with high right hand cheekpiece and Swiss butt is of crotch figured American walnut. Point pattern checkering is on grip. Matching Schnabeled forend has ebony tip. CONDITION: Excellent, showing little use, with only some minor nicks and dings in wood. Older scope is very fine with some marks and thinning blue. Optically a bit clouded.
