Fine example of a 44 action Model 52 showing considerable shooting wear but no abuse. Half octagon barrel, drilled and tapped for scope blocks with two extra holes which have been filled, is unusual in the bore being .22 Long Rifle is still excellent. It is fitted with a Fecker scope, globe front sight, and Lyman rear sight with windage in the base. CONDITION: The majority of the case color is still bright on the etched and engraved action. The nickel plated buttplate has 95% of the nickel remaining. Typical 44 action showing most of the case color. Lever has numerous little scratches and dings with no case color left. Forearm and buttstock retain 95% original finish with numerous small dings and scratches from handling. One dent on the buttstock. Action is good, bore is excellent. Barrel retains 95% of blue, showing wear at sharp edges, muzzle, and where the barrel was drilled and tapped. Holes are now filled. A fine old rifle. TR
