Case colored action fitted with double set triggers, and a typical lever for the 51. Buttstock has very nicely checkering pattern. Buttplate is case colored. Forearm wonderfully checkered. The barrel is half octagon and No. 3 barrel weight. There is a base only for a wind gauge front sight. Steven's Special scope No. 510, 7/8" diameter, fitted with the rare and desirable Pope rib. CONDITION: Action case colors remain fiery with some small discoloration. Buttstock shows little use with some very minor handling marks. Buttplate retains considerable case color with some patination due to storage. Forearm shows only the most minor of handling marks. Barrel retains 98% blue except for some wear at muzzle. Optics are good but scope has a dent underneath elevation knob of rear mount. Scope covers still present. Good action, excellent bore. TR
