This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/3/2019
Lot consists of: A group of 58 political and political-related plates and attachments. This is a grouping that makes one wonder if there is another group like it anywhere. These plates go back to the 1920's, for candidates like Al Smith and Alf Landon, and presidents like Roosevelt and Hoover. There are attachments advocating the repeal of the 18th amendment, and even one small attachment, sold in Colorado in 1933 to those wishing to donate to the unemployed during the Depression. The "UR" stood for "Unemployment Relief". All in all, a superior grouping, and with only a few exceptions, almost all pieces are excellent.
Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
