Full octagon number three weight barrel is fitted with two folding leaf rear sight and spirit level windage adjustable globe front. High quality case hardened scope blocks hold Fecker 6 X (?) target scope number 2145 in micrometer rings. Blued action with Winchester proof on receiver ring Features standard lever trigger and hammer, and it fitted with mid range vernier tang sight. Action is finely engraved with near full coverage very nicely cut open shaded acanthus scroll within gold wire borders. This fine engraving surrounds circular vignettes of semi-relief gold inlaid American big game animals; with pronghorn antelope in western background on left side, and white tail buck running through woodlands on right. This fine engraving is by the recently deceased American Engravers Guild Master, Ray Viramontez, whose initials are at the bottom left of white tail scene. Serial number 2131 is in gold on trigger plate tang. Superb, crotch figured American walnut ogee pistol grip buttstock with swept shadow line right hand cheekpiece measures 13-1/4" over nickel plated Swiss butt. Deluxe checkering is at grip, and ebony inserts are at bottom of grip and on tip of matching Schnabeled forend. Weight: 11 lbs. 5 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished, most likely after engraving. Metal parts retain essentially all of their fine custom blue. Buttplate re-nickeled. Stocks retain essentially all of a new hand oil finish over some light marks and scratches. Checkering recut. Bore is very fine to excellent, lightly frosted. Scope appears excellent, optically fine.
