If there exists a more handsome Stevens Model 1915, we have not seen it. This lovely custom rifle has been delicately and masterfully engraved in the scroll and leaf pattern, which covers the entire frame, breech block, lever, and hammer. Breech of barrel with double gold lines, double gold lines at muzzle. 2-1/2" of engraving at forward part of octagon barrel. Features deluxe Fleur-de-Lis checkered triple-X walnut stocks with blued rifle buttplate. The frame and lever are both color case hardened, screws are fire blue. Full octagon barrel with takedown. Barrel has been relined. Has a black ebony forearm tip. Sports a German knife blade front sight and sporting rear. CONDITION: The gun is in near mint condition as embellished and finished. Fine action, rifling with fine continuous lands and grooves. Simply one of if not the nicest and most ornate Model 1915s extant and a showpiece of master gunsmithing an engraving. DB
