Blued receiver with single trigger and trigger underlever, which is case colored. Lower tang is stamped with serial number. Buttstock is of fancy American walnut, checkered pistol grip with cap, and cheekpiece. Swiss style nickel plated buttplate. Fancy wood forearm is checkered with an ebony insert. No. 3 weight barrel, half octagon, marked for Winchester and .32-40. Front sight is a replacement blade front and a Winchester-Vernier rear. CONDITION: Receiver has almost all of its blue with some scattered scratches. Lever has considerable color remaining. Wood shows very minor scratches and handling marks. Buttplate has vast majority of its nickel, with only traces missing. Forearm has some wear to checkering from handling with some scattered minute handling marks. Barrel blue is in excess of 95% with some wear at muzzle and sharp edges of the octagon. Good action with excellent bore. A wonderful gun in wonderful condition. TR
