Blued action, double set triggers, spur lever. Buttstock with checkered pistol grip and cheekpiece, made of very fancy American walnut. Nickel plated Swiss buttplate. Winchester forearm is checkered and also made of very fancy wood and sporting an ebony insert at the tip. Barrel is full octagon, No. 3 weight. Winchester wind gauge front sight with spirit level. Winchester-Vernier tang rear sight. CONDITION: Almost all blue remaining on action. Majority of finish on buttstock is excellent with a few rubs, dings, etc., from handling. There is a tiny chip on the buttstock on the left side of the wrist next to the action. Almost all nickel present on buttplate. Small crack is present on the bottom of the forearm just in front of the action. Majority of the blue remaining on the barrel with a few bare patches and a few odd marks, possibly from a wrench or vise. Good action, excellent bore. A fairly rare example in fine condition. TR
