Barrel stamped Inland General Motors 9-44. Type 2 rear sight stamped PI. Tang is stamped M. Walnut stock on right side is stamped MPR FJA with ordnance wheel. Magazine release stamped with M. Thin groove walnut forend with four rivets, grey parkerized finish. CONDITION: Wood has a couple of dings, otherwise this carbine retains all of its wood and metal finish. Comes with one magazine and period canvas sling. Fine bore and action. Comes with original shipping wrapper listing Quantity 1 .30 Caliber Rifle with sling, oiler, and magazine, and handwritten to serial number 5516825, which matches the gun, from Norfolk, Virginia, dated 10 of 53.
