Highly desirable suppressed copy of the highly effective British Sterling machine gun. American made from some original British and some new-made parts into a suppressed pre-86 dealer sample machine gun, this was clearly someone's pet gun for range competition and also something which could also be a great home defense firearm. Marked on top of magazine housing "STERLING SMG 9 m/m MK V L34A1". Integral suppressor is permanently part of this firearm with a finely crafted and attractive wooden forearm. No magazine present. This item will transfer on a solitary ATF Form 3. As a pre-86 dealer sample, this gun can be retained privately when an active FFL/SOT dealer in a "sole proprietor" status relinquishes their license, subject to any State and local restrictions, and upon BATF approval. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original factory black pebble finish with very little evidence of firing. Bore is fine and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. An absolute dream for the modern machine gun enthusiast! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
