High quality Heckler & Koch Model 53 manufactured in 1977. Serial number on left side of magazine well with three position selector “S, E, F”. Right side of magazine well marked "Made in Germany excl for SACO". Telescoping buttstock and bird cage style flash hider. No magazine present. As a pre-86 dealer sample, this gun can be retained privately when an active FFL/SOT dealer in a "sole proprietor" status relinquishes their license, subject to any state and local restrictions, and upon BATF approval. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent black hard coat original finish with some slight loss of finish to the high edges. Composite furnishings of buttstock and pistol grip near excellent. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt very good with evidence of firing. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE AS A PRE-86 DEALER SAMPLE ONLY TO ACTIVE CURRENT FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 ONLY.
