This well made single shot action is marked "14" and "LRH 1975" on bottom. Consignors notes indicate that it was made by L.R. Harriman of Bowling Green, Ohio. Action is blued and has pivoting safety on left side and Borchardt type spurred opening lever. It is fitted with what appears to be stainless steel 22" round barrel mounted with a homemade dovetailed scope rail. Stocks are fiddle figured American walnut of nicely shaped and point pattern checkered, perch-bellied buttstock, featuring right hand cheekpiece and heavy Swiss butt. Full Schnabeled forend has ebony tip. Weight: 10 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, appears little used, with only a few light handling marks in all wood and metal surfaces.
