Standard 1944 production G.43 made by Berliner-Lübecker. This gun is a post-World War II French reissue to border guards or internal security forces as evidenced by the "R" stamp in the right side of the stock. Reproduction leather sling, K marked magazine, cleaning rod, and muzzle cover. Mismatched numbers as is common on the post-War issued guns. The sides of the front of the receiver have been stippled at some point for reasons unknown. CONDITION: Gun retains 95% of an applied finish. Laminated stocks have been sanded and refinished with thick coat of varnish. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Fine mechanical function. GR
