Offered is a lovely pre-war FN Browning A5. Features solid matted rib, two bead sight, blued finish, round knob checkered walnut stock, nice period Hawkins ventilated pad, checkered walnut fore end. Right side of frame has been engraved by previous "J.M. McCune / K. C. MO." CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 97% original factory blue. Razor sharp stamps. Right side of barrel has a couple of rubs and two small spots of aging with a slight touch of salt and pepper. Frame has some light high edge wear. Features the factory engraving standard on all models. Fine action. Mirror bore. Wood is excellent with a few minor handling marks, nice and dark. Checkering is sharp. Never refinished.
