Talk about firepower! Fully automatic Remington Model 1100 shotgun. Some forward-thinking Title II manufacturer converted this high quality Remington into a fully automatic machine gun. Incorporates all composite furnishings with a long 22” tubular magazine. Rotating safety with hand stamped “safe” visible on underside when forward. Incredibly scarce as a registered fully transferable gun. This is a full-auto only shotgun. CONDITION: Overall appearance extremely fine original lustrous blued finish with some handling marks and wear to grey patina on safety. Bore is very fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face also extremely fine. Mechanics are fair as it takes some effort to cock this firearm. No doubt there are some special springs here to handle the full-auto operation. Can’t say that this cataloger has ever encountered one of these before, but the U.S. Navy did procure some full-auto shotguns specifically for their elite SEAL teams to use for specialized operations. I imagine this would be an amazingly destructive device used in close quarters, perhaps for clearing underground tunnels! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A MACHINE GUN !
