Incredibly clean and fine condition smooth finish Harrington & Richardson Reising Model 50 machine gun with 14" barrel and compensator. One 20 round magazine is included with lot. The Reising Model 50 is a quality built machine gun which was fielded in limited numbers to the Marine Corps during World War II. A fine and very comfortable machine gun to shoot, and quite accurate and controllable. Police departments took advantage of the ready availability of the Reising after World War II, and one sometimes encounters the semi-automatic model which was produced for the civilian market. Today the Reising Model 50 has gained popularity as a well-made and fun .45 ACP entry level machine gun. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original smooth grey matte finish. Wood is in exceptional condition with only the slightest of handling marks. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. It would be pretty hard to upgrade the condition of this specimen. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE.
